About

Welcome to I know London's guide to London.

This guide was created by James who was born in Staines (famous for being the birth-place of Ali G) and who currently lives under protest in Hammersmith.

James's career path has been varied and colourful over the years and includes such diverse roles as English teacher, scuba-diving instructor, underwater cameraman and a short stint as the Energizer Bunny in San Diego, United States.

James was briefly employed (seems to be a theme) as a server-side network programmer before making the unorthodox career move of becoming a 'man with a van' in London.

James's experience's as a man with a van has given him huge insight into London parking regulations (or more specifically London parking fines) and the logistical needs of the Romanian mafia. He has moved half of London with highlights including suits of armour, mirrors the size of a van, tanks of tarantulas and a shipment of sex toys which (alarmingly) was being sent to the home and garden show.

In the course of delivering the good people of London's furniture James has met everyone from squatters to well known government ministers to the good people of Westminster abbey, bankers, actors, journalists, writers, you name it. In the courseĀ of his work James hasĀ covered just about every inch of London and the result is this guide. Enjoy!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
