Part of the residentially pleasant corridor that runs from Highgate North through Crouch End and Muswell Hill, Hornsey is not quite as upper market as Highgate, not quite as nice as Crouch End, but pleasant enough all the same.

 There's a decent high street spoiled a little bit by the usual suspects: KFC, Woolworths, etc. but there is still a good selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs.

As with most of the surrounding area, Hornsey is probably more suited to families with children than hard-core ravers but, since the demand is for 2 or more bedroom flats, you can probably get some deals on studio and one bedroom apartments.
